Hi there,

I'm Nicole, a Paediatric Emergency Nurse and

Founder of Rhythm First Aid. I’m on a mission to educate and empower our community.

Rhythm First Aid Founder Nicole

Growing up on a farm in South-West Victoria, I learnt that while there are many advantages to living in a small country town, there are also a few disadvantages, including limited accessibility to some services, in comparison to our city friends. A big stand out for me is that we have longer ambulance wait times and greater distances to travel to access healthcare.

Working as an Emergency Nurse in a trauma centre, I have experienced first-hand the importance of well developed first aid knowledge and skills, and devastatingly, I’ve seen the impacts of a lack of knowledge and skills.

I currently work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at a large tertiary hospital in Melbourne. I have experience in Emergency, Paediatrics, Education and I’ve worked as a School Nurse.

I’m an avid learner, always furthering my own knowledge, and ‘keeping my finger on the pulse’ on all thing’s health and education, ensuring that information in Rhythm’s courses is evidence-based and up to date.

My qualifications to date include a Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology), Graduate Certificate of Nursing Practice (Paediatrics), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS), and I recently became an Accredited Nurse Immuniser.

Armed with my experience, knowledge, and determination to improve outcomes for families and businesses, Rhythm First Aid was established with a vision to ensure quality, fun CPR and first aid training is accessible for all.

I believe the quality of educational services people receive shouldn’t be defined by their postcode – so my aim is to bridge this gap across the state and ensure training is accessible for all.

I’m incredibly passionate about first aid and improving the health and safety of our community.

I love working with our varied clients and customers throughout the state, from farmers in rural Victoria to lawyers in Collins Street. I value feedback and I’m forever improving and learning.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out; let me know what I’m doing well and where I can improve.

I’m always open to new ideas and collaborating with our community, like minded people and brands.
