Rhythm First Aid was born from community need, Director, Nicole Gleeson’s love of education, sharing her knowledge and experience with the community.
Growing up on a farm in South-West Victoria, Nicole learnt that while there are many advantages to living in a small country town, the major disadvantage was limited accessibility to some services and a lack of high quality first aid education.
Armed with her experience, knowledge, and passion to improve outcomes for families and businesses, Nicole established Rhythm First Aid with a mission to ensure quality, fun CPR and first aid training is accessible for all.
Nicole is currently a Clinical Nurse Specialist at a large tertiary hospital in Melbourne, and has also worked in Emergency, Paediatrics, and as a school nurse.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology), Graduate Certificate of Nursing Practice (Paediatrics), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS), and she recently became an Accredited Nurse Immuniser.
Nicole is passionate about learning and furthering her own knowledge, and ‘keeps her finger on the pulse’ on all things health and education, ensuring that information in Rhythm’s courses is evidence-based and up to date.
Combining her qualifications, and industry experience as an Emergency Nurse, with her understanding of the needs of rural and regional areas, Nicole has developed a range of unique services that makes Rhythm a premier choice for Victorian families and businesses.
Nicole believes the quality of educational services people receive shouldn’t be defined by their postcode – so she hopes to bridge this gap across the state. Nicole has brought evidence-based learning back to her own regional community and hopes to do the same for other towns.
“Let’s replace fear with knowledge, skills, and most importantly – confidence!” – Nicole Gleeson
